Dangerous Overtaking!!!

I remember an occurrence during a road trip.. there were many trucks and petrol tankers on the road that day and we were just overtaking them easily.. there was one brand new truck that even tried to race us, but was no match for the Corolla, we eventually overtook it.. our driver then mocked the truck driver for attempting to run with him. But in my mind I was defending the truck driver.. the weight of the value of what it's carrying makes its journey slow.. we could move faster because we weighed less.. at some point we branched to a petrol station to get fuel and I saw a large tanker packed there... then the memories of the ones we overtook came back.. this one has arrived at the station with its value and our Corolla is about to draw from its valuable content (petrol). All our race would be futile if the truck didn't deliver its content at the station for us to get fuelled. In life, your journey may appear slow like that of a car while others around you are passing by like a Corolla. Relax! What you're carrying is not what they carry.. the value of what you're carrying may slow you down but it is the valuable content that will fuel others on their own journey too.

In a joint letter signed by the president and made public by the executive members, it was made clear the proceedings from the investigation and the eventual acquital verdict given by the Students Affairs Division of the University. Below is the content of the letter:    Re: Misappropriation of Funds and Lack of Accountability   This is an avenue to state in clear terms the true state of affairs during our tenure as Hall Executives other than allowing the earlier false impres

Insecurity in Oyo State: Towards a safer Oyo State.

Blame game/Opposition game A wise man once said, "When you keep blaming others for every situation you're in, someday you’ll begin to look like you’re the mistake all along". This holds true of our politicians in Nigeria. When a new government spend a good portion of its administration to point fingers on the failures or bad gimmicks of the old/displaced government instead of thinking outside the box to proffer solutions to the dilemma at hand, soon they will start to appear incompetent and an excuse seeker. Blame game has been a sad trend in our polity in this country. The APC government at the federal level elected in 2015 spent their entire first term blaming the deposed PDP government for insurgency and insecurity. Yeah, this state of insecurity ended the PDP reign of 16 years and the same is about to end the APC reign because they've also failed to keep the nation secured. They are now a victim of the situation that brought them to be. I hope this same trend  won
